Purpose: Revise the National Fire Danger Rating System (NFDRS)
for its Application to the Pine Barrens Region of New Jersey
Objectives:
-
Provide high-resolution fire-weather predictions over the New
Jersey Pine Barrens in support of the NFDRS revision effort led
by the Northeastern Research Station.
-
Assist in the monitoring of atmospheric boundary layer conditions
over the New Jersey Pine Barrens in support of the NFDRS revision
effort led by the Northeastern Research Station.
