About Data

Data were compiled from various sources described in metadata available below, using ESRI's ArcGIS 9.2 system and were then published using ArcIMS 9.0. The mapping site was further refined using HTML and JavaScript. The ArcIMS server resides in Fort Collins, CO which is maintained by the USDA Forest Service Remote Sensing Applications Center.

Shapefiles are in zip compressed file format. You will need software to extract the layers from the compressed file. Several utilities are available to uncompress zip files.
